A digital image is nothing more than an array of color values. Each color value corresponds to a pixel on your display. Caricature is an installation that explores how the color values that make up all of digital imagery, can be striped of their linearity and be expressed outside of the pixel's constraint. It consists of a camera-like box that feeds data to a computer, whose output will be projected. The user will be able to press a button to capture a still, that the computer will in turn analyze, pixel by pixel, and overlay rectangles of the appropriate color value over the original picture.
