This image is a computer generated visualization of my raw genetic data, as sequenced through the 23AndMe service. Each circle is a variation in the DNA sequence at a particular location, called single nucleotide polymorphisms, or SNP (pronounced "snip"). Those snips are color-coded according to the genotype assigned to them. If DNA analysis is the most accurate way to distinguish a human being from another, than visually representing this information can serve as a high-definition portrait of an individual, in this case myself.
